Head of Terminal Services (m/w/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. Together with us, you are worried about the future digital capability of the Bundeswehr. Head of Terminal Services (m/w/d) from now on and in full time in Bonn or Munich, alternatively nationwide at one of our BWI locations. The Terminal Services department includes 3 teams at the main locations in Bonn and Munich, as well as other locations with currently 31 employees. The Terminal Services department is responsible for the operation and further development of the Cloud & Infrastructure Services and ensures the provision of virtual jobs (VDI) and application applications. Furthermore, access services are operated primarily for SASPF and Load Balancing Services for other services.

Discipline responsibility, leadership and development of the department, consisting of three nationally distributed teams (admins / engineers (m/w/d)) Ensuring the agreed SLAs Responsible (controlling) for the maintenance and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, optimization of the interference processes and service-crossing CVP in the responsible services Interface to Service Management and Architecture Representation in overarching bodies Escalation management (also within the framework of call readiness) Ensuring knowledge building and management as well as know-how transfer in the department Travel activities under the disciplinary leadership (e.g. annual or development talks)

Successfully completed university studies with a focus on IT or comparable degree At least 7 years of professional experience in complex company and customer structures Ideally experience in the disciplinary leadership of self-organizing teams Enforcement strength, persuasiveness, feedback and critique as well as strong customer and service orientation Very high communicative competences and team skills as well as experiences in conflict and crisis management Self-employed and analytical work and value-oriented action Federalwide readiness required German language skills
