Our work is characterised by the fact that it carries out the basic and cross-sectional tasks and the common affairs of pension insurance institutions in the areas of insurance and pensions. The aim is to contribute to a uniform legal application through the bodies of the German Pension Insurance (DRV). This includes dealing with legal and technical issues, as well as representing the interests and positions of the DRV vis-à-vis external and internal stakeholders.

In your function as a deterrent director*r, you are responsible with a focus on issues relating to the developments in constitutional law and other legal areas, such as tax, procedural and IT law, for the proactive perception of the fundamental and cross-sectional tasks of the DRV Bund. Their decisions and actions are intended to introduce DRV's expertise in the legislative processes and in the further development of services in the interest of the customers, as well as to ensure a uniform legal application. Its activities include: Leadership of the department including professional and disciplinary leadership Decisions of particularly difficult legal issues arising from constitutional law and legal and technical issues arising from the various legal fields Coordinate and contribute to the development, analysis and assessment of reform proposals concerning the German statutory pension insurance and proposed changes in law, as well as to prepare opinions on this Support and proactive support of strategies for the digitization and automation of business processes Preparing and coordinating the creation of forum templates, opinions on laws, regulations and administrative provisions, draft decisions and their drafts Analysis and assessment of social and social reform proposals and legislative proposals Representing DRV in internal and external bodies, in negotiations and meetings with ministries, social services providers, associations and other institutions, as well as with organisations in the country Representation of the DRV in scientific and social affairs Preparation of scientific papers, lectures and other publications on the subject of the department Establish and maintain professional contacts and exchanges with social partners, ministries and science

They have a successfully completed academic degree in law (first and second state exams) They have up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the relevant legal and technical fields (corporate law, social security organisation law, procedural law including the law of process digitalisation (IT law), competition and procurement law, copyright and exploitation law) and their application You have many years of professional experience and experience in dealing with basic issues You can take over leadership responsibility and have demonstrated these through management-relevant activities (for example project work) You can identify and evaluate digitalization potentials and obstacles with a view to their importance You are convinced by your applied and safe appearance and can represent the DRV Covenant to the outside adequately and legally They have the ability to successfully initiate changes and implement them in processes They are ready for regular service trips both in the federal and European countries They react sovereignly and solution-oriented to short-term changes in daily business
