Within the global production network of Mercedes-Benz AG, the team eDrive Special Projects takes a decisive position. The department deals with pioneering technologies and their further development to serial capability. Interdisciplinary cooperation with various disciplines is a unique opportunity for incoming engineers and IT experts to work on exciting topics within the framework of the fourth industrial revolution, to exploit their complete potential and prepare for the challenges of the future. These challenges include: Project management internally and externally in the consortium Coordination of resources internally within the team Supporting the creation of reports on project status for management Using scientific research, experiments and publications Take over tasks in the design, construction and operation of test benches Application and testing of own developments Accompanying first implementations in series production

Advanced study of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, Computational Engineering Science, or a comparable course of studies, ideally focusing on technical computer science / automation and control technology programming knowledge of, for example, Python, Java, or the like of advantage Willingness to incorporate into new tasks and tools Safe handling of MS Office Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Self-employed and responsible work Analytical thinking and strategic working Engagement, critical thinking and team skills Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
