As Head of In-Process Control Lab (m/w/d) at the Grenzach site, you play a key role in designing an agile, flexible and efficient organization. They run an operating team of about 30 employees as well as three directly reporting team leaders and provide a timely analysis of in-process samples, including intermediate products. Management, design and development of the IPC department. Participation, maintenance or guidance of relevant quality processes (e.g. deviation management, CAPA management, customer complaints, audits or inspections). Processing of processes and workflows in the IPC department according to internal quality philosophy, guidelines and specifications, as well as the introduction and verification of CPIs for monitoring the overall performance of the IPC department and the effectiveness of the work processes. Proactive cooperation with QA (Quality Assurance), QI (in-process control) and QS (quality systems) and other stakeholders at all levels to ensure effective and targeted cooperation. Management of the budget of the department in accordance with the financial guidelines of dsm-firmenich and active search for ways of saving costs. In addition to a model function to create an efficient and sustainable LEAN working culture, reporting quality and safety deviations.

Ph.D. in Life Science (preferably chemistry) with at least three years of experience in conducting an analytical laboratory in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry. Experience in the development of efficiency programs for laboratory plants. Very good knowledge of German and good English. Embossed interpersonal skills and leadership qualities. Good communication and presentation skills.
