They actively shape the comprehensive network architecture of our company – from the design of new locations to the integration of modern technologies to the sustainable development of existing structures. As part of an experienced administrator team, you analyze technical requirements (e.g. from projects), disassemble them in technical implementation steps and coordinate their implementation in close coordination with internal customers, manufacturers, service providers and the team. They develop strategic concepts for the development and consolidation of the network, evaluate technological developments and examine their operational capabilities in the overall architecture. They document architectural decisions comprehensible and regularly agree with the leadership level, with security managers and adjacent infrastructure teams. They ensure the availability and quality of our network infrastructure in our georedundant data centers, support first and second level support in complex topics and participate in a changing, additionally remunerated readiness.

They have completed a study of computer science or comparable technical training and have several years of professional experience in network administration and in the design of corporate networks. They bring profound knowledge in complex network topologies and IT security architectures – terms such as ZTNA, BGP, PPEN, VXLAN or microsegmentation are not foreign words for you. They have experience in design, documentation and development of network architectures in medium to large environments and understand how to transfer technical requirements into sustainable solutions. They act with vision, analyze technological trends and evaluate their benefits in terms of performance, safety, scalability and operating costs. They work in a structured, solution-oriented and communication-strong manner – both in the team and with interfaces outside IT. They also keep an overview of complex challenges and introduce new ideas with the aim of making our network landscape ever better and more sustainable.
