deriving the requirements from the drive systems to the components across the machines and divisions Coordination of the relevant component properties and their prioritization with the divisions' development areas Consolidation of the requirements according to components and derivation of measures to optimize the drive systems in order to harmonize the component requirement with the aim of standardization Screening of the supplier market and matching the derived component requirements with the supplier portfolio Coordination of qualification (internal/external) selected components according to the consolidated requirements profiles Participation in make-or-buy decisions for component sizes from the technical/technological perspective Define a Liebherr component module and a component strategy taking into account the technology/supplier development and future requirements from the Liebherr machine roadmaps Heading of component integration into the drive systems in the divisions as well as developing standard approaches for integration and validation across the divisions incl. Takeover of the interface to the suppliers

Completion as M.Sc. Electrical Engineering, Physics or Mechanical Engineering, or Comparative Degree First leadership experience, ideally as team/group/project manager in the development of e-drives or - Components Experience in dealing with partially conflicting objectives in systems/components with wide range of applications Experience in stakeholder management with all the functions involved in product development - in particular product management, development, purchasing and suppliers Knowledge of structuring and/or processing of projects in distributed development organisations desirable Communicative appearance and transparent, analytical and structured approach Clear leadership in achieving goals, combined with a collegial and facing attitude in developing solutions Very good knowledge of German and English
