Support ZEISS SMT in all patent matters

Analyse inventions in exchange with the technical experts, prepare decisions on inventions and patent applications and implement the decisions taken

In close cooperation with patent lawyers in Germany and abroad, patent licensing procedures before the patent offices control or lead themselves

support in the enforcement of proprietary rights and in the defence of foreign rights, using the legal channels available for them in Germany and abroad

Creating protection strategies for an internationally oriented market

formulate IP regulations in cooperation agreements and be a member of the interdisciplinary negotiation teams

a successfully completed technical or scientific university study ideally in the fields of mechatronics or physics

the qualification as a patent holder or a professional representative before the EPO

multiannual professional experience in an industrial patent department

Knowledge and experience on the peculiarities of foreign patent systems, in particular the USA and Asian industrial states

Communication and Compromising in Interdisciplinary Teams

a safe occurrence in Germany and abroad, in particular very good English knowledge

a pronounced ability to present complex facts in a comprehensible and convincing manner in German and English
