Location: Munich Objective of the function Our “Investment Office” department seeks quantitative support in the capital investment, in the areas of strategic asset allocation, asset liability management and data management. This function works closely with our external asset managers, risk management and our actuariate. In addition, the function supports further themes such as the determination of the regulatory capital requirements under Solvency II and limit systems for capital investment.

This role offers the opportunity to actively participate in the management of capital investments and to improve the processes and methods of the Investment Office. They support the process of improving our asset liability management and determine the required data. They work together with the Group Investment Office to optimize the strategic asset allocation and process automation. They support the methodology for the Solvency Capital Requirement of Investments and check the data of our service providers that are included in the Solvency calculation. They analyze developments in the capital markets as well as regulatory changes and investigate the impact on our investment process.

Your technical skills They have successfully completed a study of mathematics, economic mathematics or economics with quantitative orientation, economics or a comparable degree course. They have at least 2 years of professional experience in the field of management of investments, strategic asset allocation, asset liability management, ideally in a life insurance company or an asset manager focusing on insurance / pensions They have knowledge of the valuation of bonds and interest derivatives Experiences with academic projection systems and general programming experience are advantageous. You have completed or commenced training for the Aktuar (DAV), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) or the interest to launch it with technical and financial support.
