Number: MER0003MJI In Group Research & Development (RD), we design the automotive generations of the future. We mean innovative products with the highest quality and efficient development processes. We are already working on vehicles that will secure the technology leadership of Mercedes-Benz in the future. Our department is responsible for the conceptual investigation of new technologies including the first prototypes of cells and electric vehicle batteries in Mercedes-Benz AG. In the Team System Design & Technology Development at the Untertürkheim site, new concepts for the physical design of future energy storage systems are developed and investigated. In addition, we are investigating new technologies in the HV battery environment and assessing them with regard to their use in future development projects. Do you want to actively shape the electrification of our mobility? Then you are right here! As an intern in the field of project management, you are working on the latest prototypes. In particular, we are looking for support for the following topics: Pre- and follow-up of project rounds (in German and English) Leading Project Time Plans (Comparing Suppliers Internal/External) Test planning including parts provision and test definitions Evaluation of measurement data from experiments Organize transports between locations Create documentation and request documents (including CAD images) Perform simple procurement (request offers + order)

Master's degree in engineering or natural sciences (e.g. electrical engineering, physics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, etc.) First experiences in projects Pre-knowledge in the area of battery systems Knowledge of CAD and Matlab recommended Very good German knowledge and good English skills High level of initiative and communication and moderation capabilities Self-employed and analytical work Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
