Senior Consultant (m/w/d) Institute of Clinical Genetics

The body shall be occupied in full and part-time as of 1 July 2025.

In this position, you work in the context of genetic diagnostics according to the requirements of the QM manual. This includes an activity as head of the Genetic Ambulance and specialist for human genetics.

Your tasks:

Management and organisation of the Genetic Ambulance: Own-sponsored management, organisation and administration of the Genetic Ambulance, taking into account business regulations and extending the institution to an internationally high scientific level Training and care of doctors: Responsibility for the further training and care of doctors in further education and guidance, continuing and continuing training of the ambulance staff

Comprehensive patient care and genetic diagnostics: carrying out anamnese surveys, stem-building analyses, clinical-genetic investigations and the initiation of diagnostic measures and interdisciplinary additional investigations

Cooperation and Networking: Intensive cooperation with internal and external physicians, cooperation in the Centre for Rare Diseases Dresden and Konsiliar Investigations

Teaching and research: Acquisition of teaching obligations, self-application of third-party funds, carrying out own research projects, publication activities and support for doctoral students, faculty students and PJ students
