What makes this position? Together with the General-Ledger team, you support the proper accounting of all business incidents, compliance with IFRS and HGB as well as the creation of annual accounts, asset management and statistical reporting.

You ensure the correct collection of all financial transactions – including revenue, expenditure, provisions and assets – in compliance with internal policies and legal requirements You actively participate in the creation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and pay attention to compliance with IFRS and HGB You manage the asset register and document access, exits and depreciation You support the calculation of depreciation and impairment and accompany external audits You conduct regular votes between the main book and secondary books to ensure data integrity You'll start statistical reports for authorities such as the Federal Statistical Office and the German Bundesbank

You have a completed commercial training or a degree with a focus on finance You bring professional experience in financial accounting with focus on main accounting Ideally, you have knowledge of asset management and statistical reporting – certifications as an accountant are a plus You know well with the Commercial Code (HGB) You communicate safely in German and English – both in writing and oral You have good user knowledge in ERP systems (SAP 4S/Hana) and in Excel
