For EdTech Engineering, we are looking for an unlimited period of time and a Python Engineer (m/w/d) for AI Services in full or part time (min. 80%) at the Berlin site at the earliest possible time.

In cooperation with your cross-functional team, you develop and automate business and AI processes with Python Start new microservices with state-of-the-art frameworks like FastAPI You opt for the performance through parallel programming and application profiling In close cooperation with our AI Engineers, you will develop solutions for existing business problems Together with a multidisciplinary team you work iteratively and self-organized You participate in diverse projects and work in new technologies in this context

You have well-founded experiences with Python in complex software projects You are experienced in the operation and development of applications in productive environments with Python, REST services and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or Django You have a strong understanding of best practices in software development You have already been able to gain experience with various database technologies, including ORM and database migrations, and learn how to handle large datasets and data pipelines You know about CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), Docker and Kubernetes You are safe to use common cloud providers such as AWS, Azure or OTC Ideally, you have first experience in the integration of libraries for machine learning in backend services and can design and implement modules that can be integrated into larger applications First contact points with vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, pgvector or Elasticsearch are also advantageous, but no need You have very good English skills and ideally good German skills
