IT Network Specialist / In-house Consultant (m/w/d)

Your tasks:

• You take responsibility for our campus network as well as external location networks: from the product vision to the technical development to the operational control of the service providers.
• You plan and accompany changes and projects, co-ordinating providers and independently manage your budget.
• You operate and develop our network and WLAN infrastructure – reliable, safe and forward-looking.
• You design and implement our infrastructure – you keep an eye on technological innovations and security features.
• Together with our security team, you work on an overarching network security strategy (port and device level).
• You are responsible for the ECE-wide WAN/VPN as well as the connection of external sites and central internet access.

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed your studies or training in computer science, or you have equivalent knowledge and professional experience in the above-mentioned field of work.
• You can rely on expertise in Cisco Access Services (Umbrella, Meraki Anyconnect).
• Knowledge in the area of LAN/WLAN and Network Security incl. Access management at port level helpful.
• You are passionate about new technologies, ready to learn and appreciate a modern employee leadership with short decision-making.
• German and good English skills complete your profile.
