Director IT Operations (m/f/d)

Strategic leadership: Continuous further development and implementation of a long-term IT operation strategy, which is oriented towards the business objectives and which continuously optimizes the operational processes Management: Leadership and control of the entire IT operation (including infrastructure, networks, workplace services, cloud services and cyber defence center) Availability and security management: Ensure high availability, security and performance of IT systems by implementing robust security measures and policies. Monitor and tax the necessary implementation measures and compliance requirements Process optimization: Identify and continuously implement improvements and automation of the IT processes to continuously increase efficiency improvements and customer experience and to achieve possible cost savings Team Leadership: You lead and develop a multinational dedicated team of managers and IT professionals Customer and escalation management: You are proactive with our customers to understand and ensure that the IT services meet the contractual requirements. You are responsible for the effective escalation processes to ensure that IT problems are quickly and efficiently solved and have minimal impact on business Communication and Cooperation: Close cooperation with other disciplines such as Architecture & Development and Transition & Transformation to ensure smooth service levels and efficient processes in the transfer of new services and in the “hand over to operation”

Complete studies in the field of computer science, information technology or comparable qualifications Multiannual experience in leading positions in IT operation of major IT organizations Proven successes in implementing IT strategies and process optimizations Funded knowledge of ITIL, IT security standards and modern IT infrastructures (Cloud, On-Premises, Hybrid) Strong leadership skills and experience in building powerful teams Excellent communication and cooperation capabilities at all levels of the company Experience in budget planning and resource management Entrepreneurial thinking and decision-making Resilience and flexibility in a dynamic environment Proactive and solution-oriented operation Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
