As part of the joint project HERO – Higher Education through commitment, reflection and orientation supported by the Innovation Foundation, we are looking for a dedicated personality for the HERO@Start programme path at the next possible time. HERO has the goal of systematically combining social engagement as a place of learning and education with academic education. Together with the Nuremberg University of Technology, THA develops innovative education formats that promote democracy competence, social responsibility and scientific reflectivity. HERO@Start is aimed at young people engaged in civil society at the transition to university – with and without university access.

You are responsible for the development, testing, evaluation and continuous development of the HERO@Start programme path at THA You develop the four HERO@Start modules on project work and social transfer, democratic responsibility, scientific thinking, data and technology competence and self-competence and future design. To do this, you will develop learning goals, workload, teaching, learning and reflection formats, materials, exam performances and micro-credentials You plan and accompany pilot projects with young people from volunteers and other engagement contexts. Design and moderate project and reflection phases, integrate student peer coaches and develop adaptive offers for different educational biographies as well as for participants with and without university access You coordinate cooperation with volunteers, civil society organisations and other practical partners. In general, you develop practical offers, which can be integrated into existing information formats in particular, and agree on framework conditions, responsibilities and recognition possibilities. You control the curricular integration of HERO@Start an der THA, in particular into the cross-faculty orientation study “Start Window”. To this end, you will develop module descriptions and certification and recognition procedures and coordinate the coordination with teachers, faculties, course managers, central institutions and the Technical University of Nuremberg You develop appropriate evaluation and quality assurance procedures, evaluate qualitative and quantitative data and derive recommendations for further development.
