Successfully completed university degree (Master's/M.Sc./Diploma or equivalent) in the life sciences, such as Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a comparable natural sciences discipline Willingness to pursue a PhD is required Practical experience with cell biology, molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and microscopy techniques Proficiency in scientific literature research, particularly using PubMed Excellent written and spoken English skills and the ability to present scientific results Experience with structured record-keeping and documentation according to established standards Knowledge of the principles of Good Scientific Practice (GSP) Independent, careful, and well-structured working style, combined with strong teamwork and communication skills

The position includes 65 % of the full-time weekly hours. The position is limited to 3 years. The period of employment is moving by the German Act on Fixed-Term Scientific Contracts (Wissenschaftzeitvertragsgesetz – WissZeitVG). Depending on the personal requirements, classification in pay grade E13is possible. The position offers the opportunity to pursue a PhD degree.
