Palo Alto Cortex Engineer (m/f/d)

Security Engineering | Customer projects: You design, implement and operate Palo Alto Cortex solutions (XDR, XSOAR, XSIAM) in the IT environments of our customers. You can continuously develop existing solutions according to customer requirements when introducing new security platforms. Automation | Orchestrierung: You develop and implement playbooks, workflows and integrations within Cortex XSOAR or XSIAM. This allows you to automate security processes, reduce manual overlays and increase the efficiency of security operations with our customers. Integration | Advice: You integrate data sources, security systems and cloud services into the Cortex platform and advise customers on the design, implementation and optimization of modern security monitoring and security operations solutions. Workshops | Further development: You accompany customers in the introduction and further development of their security platforms, carry out workshops and knowledge transfer and introduce best practices as well as current developments from the cybersecurity environment into projects.

Expertise | Experience: You have extensive experience in cyber security and practical knowledge with Palo Alto Cortex XDR, XSOAR and/or XSIAM. Certification | Continuing Education: Ideally, you have relevant Palo Alto certifications or you are entitled to continuously develop yourself in modern security technologies and cybersecurity frameworks. Analysis | Problem solution: You are able to analyze complex security incidents, quickly capture technical relationships and develop sustainable solutions. Automation | Development: You bring experience with script languages such as Python or PowerShell as well as with APIs and automation solutions. Language skills | Mobility: You have very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing and have a valid driving license of class B. Occasionally traveling to customer locations or business locations is not an obstacle to you.
