Group Leader Communications Technology (m/f/d)

You take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of a newly created team of experts for the news communication technologies (NKT) of the network company Düsseldorf mbH. You have the power to all technical approvals on standards, tenders, supplier and technology decisions in the area of responsibility, including technologies such as glass fiber infrastructures / optical fiber (LWL), copper-based communication, radio systems (450 MHz in the energy industry), radio links, satellite communication, public mobile, operating and private radio, and also broadband powerline (BPL) Continuously, you develop the alignment of NKT in line with the corporate strategy for safe power/gas/water/fire heat network operation in the Düsseldorf supply area, shape the company-wide NKT target structure according to asset management requirements and implement it together with your team. As a key contact for our pre-ranging internal customers, you act as a Product Owner and secure the end-to-end responsibility for the planning, implementation, operation (incl. interference, maintenance and inspection) as well as further development around the NKT and the integration of the NKT into the network operation, control technology (& Smart Grid). You also take into account the regulatory requirements (e.g. KRITS, IT Security Act, NIS2, BSI) You act as a central contact person for intra-group customers (e.g. for network operation, digitization, IT, asset management: client, gives requirements for NKT, network planning, civil engineering / construction design) and prioritises the inquiries of the specialist areas and projects, translates the operational need into technical solutions (of technical concepts, feasibility studies and architectural decisions and moderately between the specialist areas You are responsible for the commercial planning, budget control and cost control, tax the procurement processes, service providers, first set up performance directories / framework contracts for NKT + specification creation (empty pipes / shafts etc. direction planning) and you are responsible for the technical and commercial documentation

A completed study (Diplom/Master) of electrical engineering, communications technology, economic engineering, information/communication technology, computer science, comparable qualification or comparable training with long-term, practical professional experience in the field of communications technology / network communication infrastructure / telecommunications networks forms the theoretical basis. Finding knowledge in the field of planning, construction, operation and further development of fiber optic networks (FTTx, backbone, ring structures), copper communication networks, radio and radio systems, mobile radio integration, operating radio / private radio, satellite communication, powerline communication, industrial communication networks and experiences in the energy industry. As well as several years of experience in the technical or disciplinary leadership of technical teams with the ability to strategically control expert organisations and experience in building and developing the team.
