Dual studies (KIA / practical integration) Electrical engineering The cooperative engineering training (KIA) is the perfect combination of a shortened IHK training as a mechatronic (m/w/i) and a study (4.5 years) at the Bochum Campus Velbert/Heiligenhaus. The practice-integrated study (4.5 years) at the Ruhr West University is associated with a fully organised practical activity and you get important insights into the world of work as a long-term intern (m/w/i). You get a basic knowledge of the fields of electronics, computer science, measurement computer and digital technology. You will learn the processes for the production and system testing of measurement systems in the company. Your tasks include wiring and assembly of switchgear cabinets and upgrading and testing of our measuring systems.

General university maturity or subject-bound university maturity with good grades in math and science subjects First practical experience (through internships or similar) desirable in the fields of mechatronics, electrical and/or computer science A high degree of autonomy and discipline Complete technical training if you are interested in the practical integrated study
