CNC lathe (m/w/d)

This position is aimed at professionals who are able to recognize themselves in the machining and can safely control production processes. They work on modern CNC lathes, set orders, program machining and keep in mind the dimensional accuracy and quality during production.

This is not only about individual work steps. A CNC lathe (m/w/d) ensures that an application runs stable from the first chip to the finished component – with clean tools, controlled parameters and a production that works reproducible.

Your Tasks as CNC Turner (m/w/d)

• They program CNC-controlled lathes according to work plan and production documents.

• They set up machines for new production orders and adapt parameters to material and processing.

• They equip tools and clamping means and ensure that the machine is stable.

• They monitor the ongoing processing process and specifically intervene in the event of deviations.

• They carry out measurement checks with common test equipment and check the manufactured components.

• They document work steps and test results comprehensible.

• They perform maintenance work in the context of preventive maintenance.

• They provide their own information when processes or processing steps can be improved.

Your working day as a CNC lathe (m/w/d)

The working day begins with the vote in the team. Orders are discussed, priorities are set and technical features are cleared. Then take over your machine and prepare the production order. This includes setting up the lathe, equipping the appropriate tools and selecting or matching the programs.

During editing, you will keep several things in mind at the same time. They test measurements, pay attention to surfaces and observe the machine running. Especially in demanding components, it is important to recognize early when tolerances have to be changed or tools have to be adjusted. As a CNC lathe (m/w/d), you do not react hectic at such moments, but correct programs, tools or parameters specifically.

In everyday life, you work closely with work preparation and quality assurance. Feedback on processing times, tool service times or technical features help to further stabilize production processes. At the same time, make sure that your workplace remains tidy and security requirements are complied with. Whoever works in the machining white: A clean machine and a clearly organized workplace are just as good as the finished component.

Your profile

• They have completed training in the metalworking sector or a comparable qualification.

• They ideally have several years of experience as CNC lathe (m/w/d).

• You can safely read and interpret technical drawings.

• You have experience in handling CNC controls.

• They work precisely and quality consciously.

• You take responsibility for your machine and your production orders.

• They are ready to work in the layer system.
