Head of Care Management (m/f/d)

As a management of a growing team (plus five people), you will be responsible for the process successfully launched after the reform of the standby service, around the operational and strategic control of call number 116117 and the associated appointment services in Lower Saxony. In this case, you monitor and coordinate the service providers in the field of telemedicine, the driving service and the operation of the appointment service points in case of acute and appointment, as well as the quality assurance of the standardized medical evidence assessment. The Management Board, various bodies and the Management Board (e.g. for the Representatives' Meeting, Security Committee etc.) will work professionally. In addition, you represent the field of healthcare stakeholders and take over the control and moderation of internal and external working groups. Other exciting aspects of your complex range of tasks include the design and support of forward-looking and cross-sector supply concepts, the development of evaluation criteria for existing structures and the support for the introduction of new digital applications and smart control tools.

You have completed a university degree (Master) in health sciences, medical management or administrative sciences with health care or a comparable qualification. Multiannual professional experience in health care, ideally related to outpatient emergency care or rescue services, as well as knowledge of the care management or coordination of service providers and/or assistance services. Ideally, you could already gain leadership experience. Knowledge of the structures of the standby service in Lower Saxony is advantageous. You have a high degree of initiative, organisational skills and sense of responsibility. A strong communication strength as well as the ability to render complex facts understandable complete your profile.
