Test bench technician (m/f/d)

The Chair for Wind Power Drives conducts research in the field of wind power systems (WEA) and operates one of a total of two test stands, which are available in Germany for scientific research at WEA's machine houses. In our numerous research projects, different drive systems from WEA and the components of the drive trains have been continuously developed in recent years. The experimental investigation of WEA in real size is carried out both at component and system level at our 4 MW system test stand for WEA. In order to strengthen our team, we are now looking for a personality who, in the HPB-MBA project “Development and testing of a sliding main bearing in a real WEA drive train on the 4MW system test stand”, plans and implements both the necessary mechanical Mondays in close cooperation with our assembly line and ensures smooth trial operation. Complete vocational training for the state-tested mechanical engineering technician or comparable qualification Experience in handling electromechanical structures and hydraulic systems Knowledge of necessary mounting tools such as, for example, hydraulic torque screwdrivers and measuring means such as, for example, laser-assisted alignment devices are advantageous. Experience in the field of work preparation and planning. The operation of test stands (e.g. MTS servocontroller software) as well as the data acquisition with the Catman tool from the HBK does not pose a major challenge. Crane and forklift certificate and experience in assembly work at heights > 2m using personal protective equipment (PSAgA) Interest in independent and self-responsible work, rapid understanding, organizational talent, communication and team skills The mastery of the English language is advantageous.

The employment is in the employment relationship. The place is to be occupied until 15.09.2026 and is limited until 31.07.2028. The deadline is governed by § 14 para. 1 Part-time and temporary legislation (TzBfG). It is a part-time job. The regular weekly working time is 24 hours. The grouping depends on the TV-L.
