Then an internship in the worldwide transport logistics of Mercedes-Benz AG is just right for you! What do you expect from us? With our interior and exterior protection, you will ensure that the vehicles reach their destination unharmed and in perfect condition. You protect with suitable components such as carpet protection, seat protection, central console protection and door interior trim protection as well as Full Body Cover and Part Body Cover: Mechanical damage: Prevent scratches and dents that can be caused by splint, sand or rock beat Corrosion and thermal influences: Protect against flying grate and spark flight that could affect the surface Environment-related impurities: Keep the vehicles from unwanted animal secretions, strong UV radiation, snow and ice pollution, dust and sand deposits The ''Transport Quality'' team unites the roles of the component developer and manager and leads the assembly of the protective parts in the production plant. You will support the team in the development and implementation of protective measures for the worldwide prefabricated vehicle transport of around 2 million premium vehicles. Your tasks: Hands-on Development: cooperation in the development and process implementation of protective components for selected Mercedes-Benz series (prototypes) Day-to-day business: support in the development, testing and control of sample and serial parts as well as for supplier appointments in close cooperation with research and development Wind tunnel tests: Organisation of vehicle provision and transport for wind tunnel testing and carrying out wind tunnel tests Logistics processes: With the help of the processing and coordination of procurement and logistics processes Teamwork: Working to expand team efficiency by supporting shopfloor management The activity can begin from mid-September 2026.
