The Neurosurgery Clinic has three stations with 68 stationary and eight surveillance beds and a DWG Level 1 certified spinal center. In addition, the clinic also works in the neurooncological centre, the centre of the skull and the neurovascular network of East Saxony. As a clinic with maximum care, we offer the entire spectrum of neurosurgery. The main task is the care of patients with diseases of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves at the highest international level. Tumor surgery in childhood and adulthood as well as epilepsy surgery are a special focus. Our state-of-the-art neurosurgical Intermediate Care (IMC) has 8 beds. Our IMC team supports patients with neurosurgery images that are subject to surveillance. The normal car area has 28 beds.

They are responsible for the professional and organizational management of the station, which includes 28 normal care beds and 8 IMC beds. Your task is to ensure patient-oriented and quality-secured care by continuously optimizing both the care processes and the workflows. They are also responsible for the staff management, planning and development of the team and promote close cooperation with colleagues from other professional groups. Always take into account the current nursing, medical and economic standards to ensure the highest possible quality in care. Compliance with statutory and internal quality standards is of course for you and you are actively working on the further development and implementation of nursing concepts and standards. In interdisciplinary projects you contribute to the further development of care quality. In addition, ensure effective communication with patients, their relatives and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal care and support for all stakeholders.
