Who are we? Around 16,000 people work in pastoral care, administration and social institutions and educational institutions at the Erzbistum München and Freising. On behalf of the archbishop of Munich and Freising, the Ordinariat of Munich performs the tasks of the diocese administration. The Archdiocese of Munich and Freising operates one of the largest IT networks in Upper Bavaria. For over 1,200 locations in the entire area of Upper Bavaria, around 90 employees of IT for the Archdiocese are employed each day to ensure the safe and reliable operation of more than 6,500 clients in a wide range of topics. Whether in central administration buildings, parishes, daycare centers, schools or old homes, we professionally support all employees with our powerful teams in a total of four IT departments.
