Our “Testing Components & Aggregate – Battery” (RD/EPA) department is responsible for the entire battery testing of all series. As a team „Testing Batterie Safety und Mechanik“ we accompany our fully-electric test specimens from the first concept validation to the series release through the complete safety certification. We are responsible for carrying out and designing test bench tests and testing cells, modules and entire batteries with control units for heart and kidneys. In addition to the hardware, the software backup is also an essential test task in the security environment. Thus, we provide transparency about the degree of maturity of the test specimens at our internal and external test stands. In parallel with series certifications, we also support various pre-development projects. Our goal is to test as realistic as possible to efficiently carry out safety protection and functional testing and to prepare targeted results as well as to expand and use our test expertise to jointly shape the electromobility of the future. As an intern, in addition to the close experience of our safety tests, you will work with us on the following topics: Hardware-related development and adaptation of battery measurement technology incl. Error analysis PCBs Design Design and selection of components Programming

Conception and development of VBA-based Excel tools for automating data acquisition and evaluation processes Support for experimental engineers in their daily work The activity can begin from September 2026.

Studies with technical orientation (e.g. e-technology / mechatronics)

Very good knowledge of German in word and writing

C programming skills

Knowledge of electrical engineering

Analytical thinking and strategic working

Flexibility and a high level of operational readiness

High sense of responsibility and quality

Good communication skills and fun at work in the team

Driving licence B
