Business Development Manager / Market Analyst – Data Center Deutschland & Europa (m/f/d)

In this position, you combine market intelligence with targeted business development to identify and exploit growth opportunities in Germany and Europe at an early stage. You observe market activities, analyze trends and are the first contact for potential customers. You create the basis for strategic sales activities and coordinate the transfer to global and regional stakeholders. Monitoring and analysis of developments in the German and European Data Center market (e.g. new buildings, expansions, regulatory changes, investments) Construction and maintenance of a structured market overview including Competition analysis and industry trends Identification and Priority of Potential Customers and Business Opportunities First address of target customers, performance of discovery calls and qualification of leads Organisation and coordination of strategic initial discussions with internal decision-makers Participation in relevant industry events for network management and lead generation Building a Sales Pipeline and related Monitoring Close cooperation with the global business development and sales team Collection and documentation of customer needs, challenges and purchasing signals to support and develop the sales strategy in a targeted manner. Preparing and creating high-quality briefing documents for internal stakeholders in advance of strategic meetings – including briefing notes, as well as analyses and information on account and opportunities Care and documentation of all activities in the CRM system and transfer of qualified leads to regional or global sales colleagues Regular reporting and derivation of insights for management on topics such as market analysis and feedback, pipeline development and KPI performance

Complete economic studies or commercial training with relevant professional experience At least 3–5 years of experience in business development, market analysis or sales Very good knowledge of German and English (C1 level) Safe handling of CRM systems and analysis tools such as Excel or Power BI Embossed analytical understanding, organizational design and structured working Communication strength and joy in building and maintaining customer relationships readiness to travel within Germany and Europe (approximately 10–20 %)
