Development and development of electronic assemblies for existing and new products Conception of hardware architectures as well as selection and specification of suitable electronic components Design of schematics and PCBs as well as work with prototypes Development and implementation of embedded firmware (drivers, interfaces, system logic) Implementation of hardware and firmware tests including debugging and structured root cause analysis Ensuring quality requirements, compliance with standards and technical documentation Technical assessment of new concepts and implementation of innovative product ideas Close cooperation with software, system and product development within the development department

Training: completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, embedded systems or a comparable discipline; as an alternative to electrotechnical training related to hardware and embedded development Experience: experience in the selection and evaluation of electronic components; ideally first experience in development projects; practical experience with microcontrollers (e.g. STM32, NXP or the like); experience in commissioning, debugging and structured troubleshooting; experience with technical documentation; Experience in RTOS expertise: knowledge of analog and digital circuit development; safe handling of schematic and PCB design tools; programming knowledge in C/C++ for embedded systems, knowledge in common communication interfaces (CAN, RS485, SPI, I2C, Ethernet etc.); basic knowledge of EMC, electrical safety and relevant standards; knowledge of Python for testing and analysis purposes; know-how in robust industrial electronics, condition monitoring or measurement technology; Knowledge of test automation or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), CE conformity, environmental and life tests, version management (e.g. Git) desirable Softskills: communication skills, creativity in the development of new solutions, analytical thinking, pronounced problem-solving competence, independent and reliable operation Language knowledge: German or English knowledge
