Head of Product Development B2B Dairy (m/f/d)

In this key role, you report directly to the Global Vice President R&D and – together with an experienced team of currently 7 product developers – take responsibility for a development team of our fruit preparations for the dairy, milk substitute and food industry.

Your tasks at a glance: Head of Product Development Team Fruit Preparations (B2B) Professional and disciplinary leadership of the team as well as active promotion and further development of employees Responsibility for budget, resources and development processes Strategic and operational management of development projects in close cooperation with our customers Identification of trends and their implementation in product concepts Development and implementation of the innovation and technology strategy for dairy and Dairy alternative products Development of new products, technologies and applications for our national and international key accounts Close cooperation with research and innovation management as well as interface management to sales, production, QA/QC and supply chain Control of formulation development from idea to laboratory tests to scale-up – taking into account economic, legal and sustainable aspects Ensuring high quality, process and documentation standards along the product development process Independent support of selected European key accounts – including technical advice Raw material screening and evaluation of new or alternative raw materials and suppliers focusing on hydrocolloides Implementation of workshops, product and technology presentations

Successfully completed studies of food technology, ecotrophology, process engineering or a comparable qualification Funded knowledge of formulation development as well as the handling of raw materials such as fruits, flavors, stabilizers and hydrocolloids Very good understanding of the process requirements of the dairy and food industry Knowledge of food law and relevant quality standards Multiannual professional and leadership experience in the development of fruit preparations, dairy products or related B2B food technologies Detectable experience in leadership and further development of teams Expertise in project and innovation management Safe handling of B2B customers and strong customer proximity High innovation joy, entrepreneurial thinking and strong problem-solving competence Presentation strength, communication capability and sovereign appearance Structured, result-oriented operation with willingness to occasional, predominantly European business trips German and English knowledge in word and writing French knowledge of advantage Secure handling of Microsoft 365 (Office tools)
