Our legal task is to prevent occupational health hazards with all appropriate means. We help companies identify dangers and take appropriate safeguards. If, however, a work accident or sick insurers occur in an occupational disease, we help medically, professionally and socially. This great responsibility arises from the Seventh Social Code (SGB VII) and leads our actions. The IT of the Professional Cooperative Wood and Metal (BGHM) and the Management Professional Cooperative (VBG) work together in a joint operation (NOVA). The IT strategy of NOVA includes the complete electronic support of all business processes to insurers, member companies and within the administration. The IT solutions of NOVA are constantly being developed and adapted to ensure that current technologies are deployed safely and at all times. The focus is on the development of our own application systems as well as the adaptation and integration of various standard software products. User-friendliness takes on a particular value. Short decision-making, independent work and a good working atmosphere characterize us and lead the work in interdisciplinary teams to a common success.
