IT Infrastructure Architect (m/f/d)

Conception and system integration of complex, modern IT systems and IT network architectures on naval boats as well as support of hardware and software development projects Creation of derived requirements, technical specifications and test regulations, testing of technical specifications of system suppliers and controlling these suppliers Advising departments and project teams, creating technical documentation and decision templates, and supporting system certifications by classification societies Planning, implementation and supervision of commissioning and acceptance on board as well as the development of safety and operating concepts in cooperation with security specialist:inside Coordination and support of project management throughout the system lifecycle, from requirement definition to validation to final acceptance

Complete technical-nature studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, communications technology or mathematics Professional experience in IT infrastructure, complex network/architectures, virtualization, quality of service (QoS) and IT security, complemented by knowledge in network infrastructure, storage/server cloud, virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, Proxmox) and network security (Firewall, CDM, package inspectors) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - in particular Terraform and Ansible - as well as with network device configuration, MBSE, software-defined networking and the development/document of infrastructure architectures as well as knowledge in container technologies Impressed team and communication skills, willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues in learning new ways of working and high sense of responsibility, flexibility, self-initiative and self-employed work Good knowledge of German and English, routined handling of common IT applications in the field of activity and willingness to occasional national and international missions, partly in the form of seafarers
