For our strategic business unit ''Semicondutor Mask Solutions'' we are looking for a 'assembly engineer (m/w/x)' at the Jena site at the next possible time:

Your role Conducting the up and down of complex systems of the semiconductor industry in the clean room of Carl- Zeiss SMT GmbH at the Jena site independently incl. Dispensing and packaging

Cable components and ensure the electrical safety of the product

commissioning of individual assemblies of the overall systems, e.g. handling and positioning systems

Assembly and adjustment of mechanical and optical assemblies and their electrical commissioning

Independent documentation of work steps and support of quality assurance processes

Self-employed work organisation in compliance with the quality and delivery date

Cleanliness Officer – Acquisition of Cleanliness Tasks

Design and support of development processes as parts of an interdisciplinary project team

Professional experience in the field of precision engineering-optical

A completed training as a mechatronic, industrial mechanic or the like, ideally successful technician training or completed engineering studies

Experience in building complex, automated machines and systems, ideally with clean room experience as well as knowledge in optics, vacuum technology and automation technology are advantageous

wants to document new manufacturing processes in a comprehensible manner and the ability to understand

Safer handling of MS Office, SAP knowledge of advantage

high team and communication skills as well as a strong hands-on mentality

Willingness to work in 2-shift operation

Good knowledge of English in word and writing are advantageous
