independent development, control and implementation of complex construction projects in the University Hospital holistic project execution from the project idea to needs and concept clarification, planning, awarding and construction to clinical use Translation of medical, nursing, technical and operational user requirements into sustainable, economic and feasible project objectives User representation to planners: project management of the exporting companies, authorities and other external partners Coordination and leadership of internal and external project teams with regard to quality, costs, dates, risks and functionality Interface management between architecture, raw construction, TGA, medical technology, fire protection, hygiene, occupational safety, hospital operation and operator requirements Management of planning changes and change processes including evaluation of the impact on function, cost-effectiveness, dates and costs Participation in budget planning, project controlling, risk management, decision templates and reporting to management bodies Participation in procurement and contract processes as well as in follow-up and performance change issues in coordination with the relevant departments Further development of standards, processes and quality assurance within building and development planning Important for the role: This position is not a purely construction site or administrative function. A personality representing the interests of the client is sought to combine complex requirements in a structured manner and to safely manage projects under the special conditions of a university hospital. You combine technical understanding, economic thinking, user orientation and enforcing ability – and keep track of parallel interests, planning changes and ongoing clinic operations.

completed studies of architecture, civil engineering, industrial engineering, technical building equipment, hospital operating technology, real estate, health economy or a comparable qualification multiannual professional experience in project management or control of complex construction projects, ideally in hospital construction, healthcare, laboratory construction or in comparable complex existing and infrastructure buildings Experience in construction projects with a high proportion of technology and in construction with ongoing operation secure coordination of different project participants, in particular users, internal departments, external planning offices, exporting companies and authorities well-founded understanding of cost, timing, quality and risk management as well as strong economic thinking Knowledge of construction, procurement and contracting, in particular HOAI, VOB, AHO and VgV, are advantageous Experience in handling planning changes, follow-ups and coordination processes in complex project structures Communication strength, negotiation security and addressable appearance at all levels Enforcement strength, responsiveness, structured functioning as well as pronounced service, user and team orientation desirable: experience with digital planning and project management tools, 3D models or BIM
