As Solution Designer (m/w/x) you are an employee of the SMT-internal IT. Your task in the day-to-day business is the assessment of partially complex technical requirements for SAP implementation relevance, the development of solution designs, functional tests and department support within your area of expertise. They work in large parts directly with the SAP-applying areas of expertise. Depending on the subject area requirement, a new mix of process adaptation, master data requirements, user interaction capability and technical implementation expertise is obtained. For the upcoming S/4HANA migration, you will see yourself as a technically oriented link to the field of expertise and service providers to be implemented. Your tasks include, among other things, requesting from the departments, reviewing the results of external service providers, functional tests and customizing. The top priority here is the business continuity.

Your team The SMT-IT is an internal provider of support services for the areas and production sites of the world market leader ZEISS. Due to the long-term strong growth of the SMT subarea, new requirements for processes to be implemented in SAP are constantly emerging. In particular, we support the upcoming Bluefield migration on S/4HANA and therefore extend our existing consulting and support team with several experienced SAP specialists.

You know the difference between the communicated customer requirement and the actual customer requirement and can safely moderate the resulting differences within your area of expertise

the extent of your SAP knowledge allows you to display implementable processes while you do not lose sight of professional implementation

You have at least 7 years of experience, ideally from SAP consulting or as SAP key users and are trained to keep several professional balls in the air at the same time

Ideally, you have knowledge of SAP-Customizing and Debugging is not unknown to you - preferably you have acquired this knowledge in a production-loaded work environment and have already applied

already acquired in an S/4HANA migration project complete your profile, but are not a prerequisite

You have successfully completed a degree in (economic) informatics, engineering, physics or comparable

safe occurrence, communication and enthusiasm are of course for you, as well as very good knowledge of German and English
