As an investment controller (m/w/d), you are responsible for the implementation and further development of analyses and reports as well as for the risk controlling of the investments of the Continental Insurance Association. You are a team player: Together with colleagues, you are responsible for the monitoring and analysis of the investments of the Continental Insurance Association. In this case, you will take an interface between the front and back office departments and are in regular exchange with them. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the risk controlling of capital investments and for the implementation and further development of internal and external reporting. You can use your knowledge with your know-how and communication skills to coordinate various projects within the investment area. This ensures a timely implementation of reports and analysis on the capital investment structure and performance. Education: Successfully completed studies of economics, financial mathematics or a comparable technical orientation with a mathematical focus. Experiences: They have a good understanding of relevant asset classes and interest in capital market performance and capital market instruments. With your mathematical background, you can calculate risk indicators such as the value-at-risk (VaR) of investments and also the derivation of stress factors for the ORSA will not cause you any headache. In addition, you have a basic understanding of the regulatory requirements (in particular Solvency II) of an insurance company. Skills: An independent, targeted way of working and excellent conceptual and analytical skills are your strength. In addition, you have pronounced team capacity and communication strength. Knowledge: You have good MS Office knowledge and have already been able to create first programs in VBA under Microsoft Excel. Ideally, you have already gained first experience with database and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Qlik Sense or similar).
