Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

Your tasks:

In our Center for Operational Medicine at the Center of the Heart Surgery Centre H-1 is to occupy a part-time / full-time position at the next possible time. The heart-surgical intensive care unit is identified with 12 treatment beds and provides patients with complex cardiovascular diseases. The station offers specialized monitoring and care for patients: within demanding heart surgery, such as bypass surgery or heart valve replacement. Patients are supported by individually adapted ventilation and weaning processes to improve their breathing function. With state-of-the-art medical technology, the continuous monitoring of vital parameters such as heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation is ensured. The station specializes in immediate response to acute complications in order to successfully manage life-threatening situations. Nursing staff, doctors and therapists work hand in hand to ensure the best possible patient-oriented care. The station allows the use of modern technologies such as extracorporeal membrane oxidation (ECMO) or dialysis methods. The implementation of the latest nursing and medical standards ensures high-quality, safe care. New team members are incorporated in a structured manner and receive various possibilities for personal and professional development. Your task field includes:

• Full monitoring and care for our intensive patients in a highly specialized, heart-surgical environment.
• Clinical and monitor-based monitoring and implementation of complex intensive care measures.
• Participation in guidance-compliant emergency care and support in acute medical interventions.
• care of patients with respiratory therapy, weaning and extracorporeal circulatory and renal replacement procedures.
• Documentation of nursing services in a computerised patient documentation system (PDMS).
• Self-organization, coordination and implementation of daily care tasks.

Your qualifications: • examinated nurse or nurse:in, with or without specialist training for intensive care and anaesthesia care or the willingness to complete these.
