Technical Editor Spare Parts Documentation (m/f/d)

Your tasks include the creation, maintenance and modification of the S2000M spare part documentation, including the associated datasets. You create technical illustrations and prepare documentation for the spare parts documentation. In addition, you will see, evaluate and extract relevant information from drawings, piece lists and manufacturer documents. You will also process and evaluate amendments and ensure their professional implementation in the documentation. You ensure the quality assurance of the created spare part documentation and the associated data records. In addition, you coordinate and organize project parts of the spare parts documentation and agree with internal and external contact persons, customers and service providers.

You have a degree in technical editorial, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable field of expertise; as an alternative to a technical training (e.g. master vehicle technology, motor vehicle technicians or motor vehicle mechatronics technicians) with corresponding additional qualification or experience in the field of technical documentation or Spare parts. In addition, you will bring a very good technical understanding and experience in the field of technical documentation. Knowledge of editorial systems as well as the ASD S2000M and B007 standards are excellent. In addition, you have experience in creating spare parts catalogs, ideally with tools such as Matkonf, as well as in dealing with illustration software such as IsoDraw or Corel Designer. Experiences in the automotive and/or armored environment as well as knowledge in handling 3D data are advantageous. Your profile is rounded off by very good knowledge of German and good English as well as a structured and careful way of working.
