The University of Technology Ulm is an interdisciplinar and inter-nationally active technical university of Ulm. Cooperation in the design and development of laboratory facilities Construction and testing of new laboratory and experimental structures Error diagnosis and troubleshooting, function checks, safety precautions control Implementation of replacement and inventory Maintenance and updating of software products for measurement and evaluation Supporting students in study and final work on technical issues in carrying out experiments Participation in the planning and development of the institutions of the Institute and in the implementation of research and development projects Ensuring the availability and development of the Institute's IT infrastructure

A degree as a state-tested technicianin the field of electrical engineering, information technology or a further education on masterin in this field with corresponding professional experience Knowledge of physical measurement technology, sensor technology and DV-supported measurement methods Advanced knowledge and expertise in the fields of optics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism and atomic physics In-depth knowledge in computer science / information technology (operating systems, databases, programming e.g. in C++, computer configuration, software, IT security and computer networks) Knowledge of the implementation of laboratory safety regulations Theoretical knowledge of the physical basis of laboratory tests Target-oriented, systematic and creative working style Safe appearance before audiences and enforcing and communication skills
