The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees.

The SOS Children's Village Saarbrücken looks back on a more than 40-year-old tradition of various offers of child and youth assistance as well as youth care. The various aids for education, training and training are complemented by counselling, seeking social work and open offers. At the SOS Children's Village Saarbrücken we are looking for a Psychologin (m/w/d) for training activities & support for people with special needs (gastronomy / household management) in part time (15 hours/Where)

In this responsibly and profoundly meaningful position, you accompany adults who need special support due to challenging situations of life or impairments. With your commitment, you are crucial in helping these people feel safe, perceived and strengthened in their training as well as in their personal development.

Their tasks include in particular: psychological advice and individual support of disadvantaged or impaired young adults in various training measures Training and coaching of basic social skills in individual and group settings Participation in group educational offers that enable social learning processes and promote positive group experiences expert advice in the interdisciplinary team, in which you contribute your expertise constructively and collaborally Observation and pedagogical-psychological accompaniment during professionally practical units in gastronomy and household conscientious implementation of child and care protection according to our quality standards and legal requirements
