Production Manager (m/w/d) for medium-sized group of companies

Our client is an internationally active, medium-sized group that specialises in the development and production of high-quality technical components and systems. With two production sites in Germany and a strong market presence in Europe, the company offers its customers tailored solutions, a high manufacturing depth and short decision-making paths.

For our client we are looking for a full-time production manager (m/w/d) at the next time. In this function, you take responsibility for the production at the two production sites in Germany (the focus of Schleswig-Holstein) and report directly to the management.

Do you bring several years of experience in the production management, ideally in the automotive sector, as well as a well-founded knowledge in lean management and process optimization? Total responsibility for production at two locations with around 70 employees (approximately 50 at the main location in Schleswig-Holstein) Analysis, control and continuous optimization of production and logistics processes (cutting, welding, assembly, painting, commissioning, shipping) Introduction and further development of lean management approaches to efficiency and quality enhancement Leadership, motivation and further development of employees and building a positive mindset Production planning taking into account costs, resources and delivery deadlines Ensuring quality standards and responsibility for quality control, fault analysis and occupational safety Participation in the development of new products, technologies and innovative manufacturing techniques Participation in strategic decisions such as make-or-buy analyses Close cooperation with other departments, the management and the sister company in France to achieve synergies

Complete studies in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering or comparable (technical) training Multiannual experience in production management, ideally in the automotive sector, with a focus on application-related manufacturing processes leadership experience and the ability to lead, motivate and develop a medium-sized team Knowledge of Lean Management, Process Optimization and Quality Management Embossed entrepreneurial thinking and analytical skills Communication strength, enforcement ability and a pronounced customer orientation High responsibility for compliance with quality and safety standards in production Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing, French knowledge is advantageous Willingness to occasionally travel to Southern Germany and France
