Safe food - Protection from contagious diseases - Healthy livestock The Landesprüfungsamt (LUA) is the central state service provider in the consumer and health protection of humans and animals in Rheinland-Pfalz. Together with our around 500 employees, we work at five locations in Koblenz, Landau, Mainz, Speyer and Trier on the nationwide monitoring and investigation of food, supplies, medicines and cosmetics, diagnostics and control of animal diseases and the protection of humans from contagious diseases. We are looking for the next time Senior Consultant (m/w/d) up to 14 TV-L (depending on the personal requirements) in full-time (100%), for the first time fixed to 31. Healthy and sensory inspection of foodstuffs, in particular meat and sausage products, dairy products, fish Serological investigation of food of animal origin (animals, foreign proteins, allergens) Completion of expert assessment and food law assessment of the results of the investigation Training of food inspectors and other professional groups and trainees Microbiological investigation of food of animal and plant origin, including the detection of bacterial toxins

Successfully completed university studies of veterinary medicine with approval as a veterinarian (m/w/d) or completion of 2. State Exams of Food Chemistry Experience in the field of investigation and food assessment is advantageous Experience in working under QM requirements is advantageous Experiences with sample management systems (LIMS) are advantageous Experience in monitoring operations is advantageous Very conscientious way of working, initiative and willingness to perform Very good German in word and writing; good knowledge in standard computer applications and in the field of specialist software Team and communication skills discretion, reliability and trustworthiness
