Digital policy

The most important task of the Politics staff is to represent the interests of the statutory accident insurance to the government and parliament as well as other policy-makers. The basis for this is the trusted cooperation with the various contact persons of accident insurance and a good sense of what arguments are for policy. Other cornerstones of a successful political representation of interest are the ability to act as an honest and reliable interlocutor and at any time also to counter factual arguments against his own concern. Participation in the political representation of the legal accident insurance with a focus on digital policy Observation and analysis of political developments and legislative initiatives in the fields of digital policy (register modernization, Germany stack, identity management, cloud, digital sovereignty, dealing with AI) and state modernisation Support and advice of selected target groups at national and regional level on current topics and developments and the establishment and maintenance of a contact network on relevant stakeholders Preparation of templates for own discussion contributions and positioning of the DGUV and the statutory accident insurance for Members and other politically relevant contact persons of the DGUV Compilation of specialist articles and close cooperation and coordination of subjects with the departments of the DGUV Pre- and post-processing of events and meetings

Completed academic studies (Master or Diploma) of political, social or legal science or Computer science or equivalent knowledge and experience Insufficient professional experience in an organisation of social security, politics (preferably in the German Bundestag) or a politically active association good knowledge of current national and European digital policy developments including their impact on social security Experience in dealing with legal texts technical content strong communication strength and team capacity Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing (at least level C1 of the common European reference framework for languages) Standing for missions and lecture activities
