With extensive guides, product tests and comparisons, we present clear recommendations on the latest technology trends such as solar systems and balcony power plants, heat pumps and power storage, robotic vacuum cleaners, air conditioning units and smartwatches and headphones. You are responsible for the independent creation of articles and videos – from research and product testing in the smart home sector to publication via our CMS. You control the SEO optimization of our content, analyze the performance with tools such as Google Analytics and develop strategies for better visibility, especially with Google Discover. As a senior editor, you actively shape editorial planning, advance the further development of our content formats and introduce your own ideas for new topics and series. You ensure editorial quality by editing contributions from team colleagues as well as external authors and acting as a central contact for product manufacturers.

You have a completed study or education in the field of media/communication and brings several years of professional experience as editor*in, ideally in the tech or smart home environment. Your writing style is lively and reader-oriented, you are absolutely text-proof in German spelling (C2 level) and have profound experience in search engine optimization (SEO). You like to stand in front of the camera to present products and have practical knowledge in dealing with popular video and image processing software. In dealing with content management systems (CMS) and web analysis tools like Google Analytics, you are versed. With your hands-on mentality, self-initiative and enthusiasm for digital trends and technology products you fit perfectly into our team.
