Tasks

The Mercedes-Benz Logistics Center Nuremberg/Fürth is an important component in the manufacturer's own parts logistics of Europe. As the second stage of the supply chain, it is the link between the central warehouse, the Mercedes-Benz Global Logistics Center in Germersheim, to the customers.

Together with the other German wholesale sites, the logistics centers Reutlingen, Cologne, Hanover and Mainz, it ensures the fast and smooth supply of branch offices and service companies in Germany and the national companies of some neighbouring countries.

These challenges include:

• quantity testing, storage or picking of parts and materials at the intended storage sites; the processing is done via our IT systems, on foot or, if necessary, by means of transport devices (e.g. forklifts)
• Compilation, removal and provision of parts/materials
• carrying out transports, possibly by means of industrial trucks

Qualifications

Ideally, you will bring:

• Complete vocational training, preferably training for the specialist in warehouse logistics, or similar qualification with a logistical background

• Experience in storage and storage management

• Teamability, physical resilience and flexibility

• Readiness to learn and use in all areas of parts management

• Independent, structured and reliable operation

• Willingness to work on Saturdays and offset working hours

• Ownership of a driving licence class B (the possession of a driving licence for industrial trucks, forklift is advantageous. Please provide a copy of your driving licence if necessary)
