We are looking for you for the School Administration Office of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The place shall be occupied without delay.

With more than 1,000 employees, the school administration office fulfills all school support tasks for around 150 urban schools of all kinds. We create the framework conditions for a future-oriented Stuttgart school landscape and ensure a high-quality school offer. The IT-Competence Center Schools is the operator of educational school IT and central IT service providers for urban schools. In the coming years, the comprehensive digitalization of all Stuttgart schools is to be promoted. An important role here is the supervision of the schools' hardware and software as well as the administration of the school administration office by the Service Desk.

A job that enthuses you

• Acceptance (telephone, mail, fax), processing and forwarding of incidents and service requests with a ticket system
• First and processing of incidents and service enquiries (1st and 2nd levels) in the area of MDM solutions, including Apple Management Systems and mobile devices (iPads, Apple TV, Apple Mac mini)
• Administration of mobile devices in MDM solutions
• Data management in the ticket system, MDM systems and Airserver Cloud Management
• Create and maintain instructions for users and support team

A change or addition of the task area is reserved.

Your profile that suits us

• a completed university degree in the field of computer science or in a comparable degree programme
• In principle, applicants with a completed training in the IT sector (e.g. specialist informatics or comparable) as well as relevant professional experience
• good knowledge in the field of hardware and software, experience in handling Apple devices
• Knowledge and professional experience with Apple operating systems, MDM solutions and network technology are desirable
• ITIL knowledge is advantageous
• independent and result-oriented work as well as the ability and interest to work in changing tasks with IT-related work
• Understanding the concerns of the user circle, communication strength, rhetorical skills and team skills
• very good expression in word and writing in the German language
