In Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development (RD), we design the automotive generations of the future. We mean innovative products with the highest quality and efficient development processes. In our department, we design an essential aspect of electromobility for Mercedes-Benz: the charging and high-voltage system for our electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles with the associated charging services (e.g. the Mercedes-Benz Eco-Coach). We are looking for and finding new solutions that help shape a sustainable future and inspire our customers. Our contribution to the company strategy ''Electric only'' and ''Ambition 2039'' encompasses the complete development process of new charging services from the concept phase to the implementation of the series. We focus on customer needs (UI/UX), necessary IT interfaces between app and vehicle, vehicle architecture itself and, of course, holistic system integration in future series. What awaits you: A young, dynamic department with flat hierarchies Responsibility for versatile and exciting tasks in the field of project management and charging Daily new challenges in international project management at Mercedes-Benz Insights into Specifications, Feature Testing, Lean & Agile Management, Strategy Development and More These challenges include: Support in developing a communication concept for Managed Charging Services Support in coordinating an agile software development process in coordination with the relevant internal and external interfaces Continuous alignment of the communication concept with further charging services in the development environment Ensuring technical feasibility taking into account customer perspective and corporate strategy Customer-oriented testing of prototypes on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) Pre- and post-processing of regular dates and bodies The activity can begin from March 2026.

Business Informatics, Engineering (e.g. Energy Technology, Electromobility, Renewable Energy), Industrial Engineering, Energy Industry, Communication Management or a comparable degree course, ideally related to electromobility Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing First experiences with Confluence, Jira, PowerBI and Mural Safe handling of Microsoft 365 High self-initiative, solution-oriented thinking and team capacity First experiences in the automotive or energy market environment of advantage Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate, giving the semester and proof of the regular study period.
