Under one roof, the MEDICLIN heart centre Lahr combines the clinic for heart, thorax and vascular surgery as well as the clinic for internal medicine and cardiology and the clinic for anesthesiology and intensive medicine. The heart centre opened in 1994 has 75 beds. Around 335 employees are employed here.

In addition to the MEDICLIN heart centre Lahr, the MEDICLIN MVZ Lahr/Baden is also part of the MEDICLIN site.

All modern methods of non-invasive and interventional cardiology are established in the clinic for internal medicine/cardiology (PCI with 24 hours of Impella and ECLS readiness, TAVI, Mitral & Trikuspidal clipping, ASD/PFO/LAA closure, implantation of pacemakers/ICD and biventricular systems, electrophysiology with ablation isolation, etc. You appreciate cooperation in an innovative and collegial doctors team with flat hierarchies, as well as the opportunity to work independently. As an experienced internist in cardiological training as well as a further education assistant (m/w/d) for internal medicine/cardiology, you can rely on a structured curriculum that ensures you learn a wide range of cardiological or internalistic skills in a clearly defined time frame. A reliable rotation plan, regular mini-lectures as well as guaranteed internal and external training play an important role and ensure excellent training. Our special interest applies to applicants with clinical internalist but also cardiological experience. The clinic has the power to further education in the specialist training of internal medicine and cardiology (48 months).
