In your internship at an internationally leading medical technology company, you are in the middle of it only: you support our team for manufacturing technology / manufacturing engineering with a focus on production and processes in innovative projects, deepen your expertise and gain practical experience that will convey you professionally and personally. You immerse yourself in the world of medical technology and support our engineers in manufacturing engineering in the integration of advanced laser marking processes into production. At the same time, by maintaining and optimizing a production app, you are significantly involved in the implementation of the Unique Device Identification (UDI) requirements from the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR) for internal instrument production and the corresponding subcontractors. In addition, you conduct independent process analyses and define processes using Lean methods for continuous improvement (KVP). You are also responsible for product and process change applications as well as corrective measures and work closely with our development and process-oriented engineering teams as well as manufacturing. You get the opportunity to actively introduce yourself to your practical solutions in an international medical technology company. Alternatively, there is also the possibility to write a final thesis in this area.

You study engineering sciences with mechanical engineering, medical technology, production technology, industrial engineering, mechatronics or are written into a similar one. Your strong analytical skills as well as your structured, independent and accurate functioning enable you to successfully act in our dynamic team. Ideally, you could already gain practical experience in the field of production technology. Your safe handling of MS Office, Sharepoint, Powerapps and Power-Automate and your very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing allow you to communicate easily in our international environment.
