Greenkeeper - Deputy Head (m/f/d)

HSV Fußball AG & Co. KGaA is looking for a full-time Greenkeeper/-in (m/w/d) at the next possible time, which also takes over the deputy direction of the Greenkeeping area.

As part of our Greenkeeping department, you are responsible for the professional care and treatment of our natural, hybrid and artificial grass pitches and the extensive outdoor area around our Volksparkstadion.

Professional care and repair measures of our natural, hybrid and artificial grass pitches Game day and training preparation (e.g. lining, placement, training support) Game day care Maintenance and operation of the irrigation system & of all growth systems Professional use and maintenance of machinery and equipment Maintenance of the outdoor facilities of the stadium area Winter service Support for personnel deployment planning & Representation of Head of Department Greenkeeping

about completed artisanal training – ideally in horticulture and landscape construction – and/or further training for the specialist agronomist (m/w/d) or (m/w/d) ideally already gained experience in the professional field, providing good professional knowledge in the fields of golf and sports lawn care and being competent in plant protection, has a driving licence of class B and is interested in the operation and driving of a variety of machines and work equipment; are reliable and counts an independent, structured and proactive way to your strengths, enjoying teamwork and working outdoors at any time of year and are flexible in time and in the evening as well as on weekends at the ball.
