To build our company-wide AI and digital team, we are looking for an AI & Automation Engineer (m/w/d) full-time (min. 35 h per week) for the technical implementation of AI, automation and agent solutions to increase efficiency in business and production processes. the design, development and implementation of AI-based automation and agent solutions to optimize business, management and production processes, the analysis of existing workflows and the identification of suitable areas of application for automation, machine learning and AI-based systems; the development and integration of interfaces between existing IT systems, databases, software solutions and AI applications, the design and implementation of API-based integrations as well as the development and support of REST interfaces for AI and automation systems, the integration of large language models (LLMs) and other AI models into existing business processes and software solutions, the development, orchestration and optimization of AI workflows as well as agent-based automation systems, the design, configuration and support of automation platforms, workflow tools and AI agency systems, the development of production-related AI solutions and the integration of AI systems into existing production, data and IT environments, implementing data processing and process automation solutions to improve efficiency, data quality and transparency, the participation in the introduction and further development of AI-based software solutions in the business environment, close cooperation with specialist departments for the acceptance of requirements and the technical implementation of automation solutions; performing tests, documentation and continuous optimization of the implemented systems and processes; the assessment of new technologies, tools and trends in artificial intelligence and automation in terms of their practical benefits to the company.

have completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics, data science, automation technology or a comparable technical qualification, have practical experience in developing automation or AI-based solutions, possess well-founded knowledge in Python for the development of AI systems as well as experience with common AI frameworks and libraries, have good programming knowledge in C++, in particular with regard to performant or production-related systems as well as embedded or edge AI applications, provide additional experience with Java or comparable technologies in the backend or data processing environment; possess experience in the integration of large-Language models (LLMs) as well as in the handling of corresponding APIs and frameworks, have profound knowledge in API design, in the development of REST interfaces and in the integration of distributed systems, bringing experience with workflow orchestration, automation platforms or AI agency systems, possess knowledge of the processing, analysis and processing of data for AI and automation processes, bring about a pronounced analytical thinking capacity as well as a structured and solution-oriented operation, show a high self-initiative, readiness to learn and a strong interest in new technologies, will be able to work with specialist departments in an interdisciplinary manner and to communicate technical solutions in a comprehensible manner, safely master German in word and writing and have good English skills,
